Lilly had a very hard night last night. She was quite upset off and on and for a couple hours straight at one point. The nurse gave more pain killers, tried re-positioning her, and checked all her lines.She finally settled down in the wee hours of the morning, thank God, and has mostly been sleeping well ever since. She needs it! She had major surgery and then was mostly awake for 30+ hours.
The doctors are very pleased with Lilly's progress. The floor doctor said, "Her [heart] rhythm and numbers look great. For 36 hours post-surgery she is doing very well."
Lord willing, Lilly's progress will continue.
