Today's To-Do List: Leave the hospital!

Little does this sleeping girl know ... but the doctors have ordered her release for today!!! We are thrilled! It is so wonderful going for days without Lilly setting off the oxygen alarm.

Little Firecracker is celebrating by wearing a ribbon in her birthday colors. (Thank you Shisshy for letting me raid your ribbon drawers each morning to choose ribbons for Lilly for the day!)

Zzzzzzzzz .... good thing there's no bugs flying around here ....

We are just in awe that the Lord has allowed Lilly to live to have her heart repaired, that we have found caring doctors to do so, and that she is thriving and we get to take her home!

  1. Prayers are being answered for Lilly. We are so thankful that she has been released from the hospital. We will continue to pray for everyone.

  2. Thanks be to God! Please tell Lilly I don't care for cannulas either and I completely agree that it's good to not have to bother with those things! Safe travels and continued healing!

  4. O Happy, Happy Day!

    To all who can't see Lilly in the flesh, she looks so healthy and happy! I figure if I had just been through what she had, I would be in the bed moaning and groaning. Not Lilly. After her mommy washed the hospital germs,etc off, there were plenty of smiles to go around. That's our Little Fire Cracker.

    message to Lisa. I didn't know you raided the ribbon drawer EVERYDAY! But then I am glad. I can think of no better use for my ribbons.

  6. Praise God for such wonderful news! Wow, she did well! So glad you are coming home! Looking forward to seeing Mr. H. in the halls at school with a big smile on his face! :)
